Effective Date: 8/28/2026
These SMS/Text Messaging Terms & Conditions (“SMS Terms”) govern your receipt of text messages from Strata Family Law (“Strata,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By providing your mobile phone number and affirmatively opting in to receive SMS/text messages from Strata Family Law, you agree to these SMS Terms.
1. Types of Messages
Depending on the type of consent you provide, Strata Family Law may send SMS/text messages that include:
- Appointment and consultation reminders
- Client-service communications
- Billing and payment notifications
- Account-related communications
- Other informational communications related to your inquiries or legal services
- Occasional requests for feedback regarding your experience with Strata Family Law
- Invitations to review Strata Family Law on third-party review platforms, including Google
You will not be required to consent to marketing, feedback, or review-request text messages as a condition of receiving legal services, submitting an inquiry, making a payment, or engaging Strata Family Law.
2. Consent to Receive Text Messages
SMS/text messaging consent is optional. By affirmatively selecting the applicable SMS consent checkbox, providing your mobile number through an applicable opt-in process, or otherwise expressly consenting to receive text messages, you authorize Strata Family Law to send SMS/text messages to the mobile number you provided for the purposes described in the applicable consent disclosure.
Your consent applies only to the types of communications described at the time you provide consent.
You represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile telephone number provided or that you have authorization from the subscriber to provide the number for SMS communications.
3. Message Frequency and Rates
Message frequency varies depending on the type of communication. Message and data rates may apply.
The number of messages you receive may vary based on appointments, billing activity, client communications, requests for feedback, and other circumstances relevant to your relationship or communications with Strata Family Law.
4. How to Opt Out
You may opt out of recurring or promotional SMS/text messages at any time by replying STOP to a message from Strata Family Law.
After you send STOP, you may receive a confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out request.
Opting out of recurring or promotional SMS messages may not prevent Strata Family Law from communicating with you through other methods or sending communications that are necessary to provide requested services or comply with legal, professional, billing, or administrative obligations.
